به گزارش روابط عمومی فدراسیون آسیایی کیک بوکسینگ، ساعاتی قبل طی نامه ای از سوی مدیرکل شورای المپیک آسیا ( به شرح ذیل) خطاب به محمد قاسم منوچهری رئیس فدراسیون آسیایی کیک بوکسینگ و رونوشت آن خطاب به کمیته ملی المپیک ایران، همچنین وی زیجونگ رئیس کمیته ورزشی شورای المپیک آسیا در چین و همچنین دکتر موفق فیاض رئیس فدراسیون پزشکی ورزشی اردن و عضو کمیته ورزشی شورای المپیک آسیا ارسال و مشخص گردید که دکتر موفق فیاض به عنوان کارشناس و مسئول پیگیری پرونده فدراسیون آسیایی کیک بوکسینگ جهت شناسایی و ورود ورزش کیک بوکسینگ به بازی های ایندورگیمز ماکائو مشخص و معرفی شد.

Involvement of Dr. Fawaz and Wei Zijong in the Asian Kickboxing Federation Case at the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA)
According to the Public Relations Department of the Asian Kickboxing Federation, a few hours earlier an official letter was sent by the Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia (as detailed below) addressed to Mohammad Ghasem Manouchehri, President of the Asian Kickboxing Federation, with copies sent to the National Olympic Committee of Iran, as well as to Wei Zijong, Chairman of the OCA Sports Committee in China, and Dr. Mowafaq Fawaz, President of the Jordanian Sports Medicine Federation and a member of the OCA Sports Committee. The letter clarified that Dr. Fawaz had been appointed and introduced as the expert and official responsible for following up the Asian Kickboxing Federation’s case for the recognition and inclusion of the sport of kickboxing in the OCA Asian Indoor Games in Macau.
